Thank you so much for this generosity Martin. Tears for the Fisherman and the Selkie. I like to balance it with Masefield’s The Seal Man, although equally lachrymose.
In New Mexico, where there are tourists and Hispanic, Chicano, Latino, white, and many indigenous cultures, including many Navajo, of the Navajo Nation, the state hired linguists to design signs that could warn all those groups that incredibly strong wind gusts arise out of nowhere, winds that are able to knock tractor trailers on their backs. They came up with: GUSTY WINDS MAY EXIST. So, this is an utterly thrilling project, that cheers me up enormously, with the wind blowing where it listeth, and voices from the whirlwind, and sudden gusts of awakening wind .(I was just ranting to my dog alone on the trail by the slabs of unfreezing river, la bleak midwinter calculus, about sorceries and pharmakeia and re-enchantment.) Your timing is so impeccable it must be holy. I've sent it on to loved ones and friends.
100,000 greetings from the fringe of the hinge here in Aotearoa, New Sea Land, where Grandmother Muriranga whenua, (far distant land,) passes on her kauwae runga and kauwae raro, (celestial and terrestrial, upper and lower jawbone knowledge) to her grandson Maui forever in the heavens.
St Patrick’s Day is approaching. Over the years I have been St. Patrick in my city’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. What about working up the wonder tale of the original Celtic Christian? Though hailing from Britain Patrick was most likely Celtic in blood as the natives of Roman Britain were celts as the Angle- Saxons had yet to arrive. Here are the 2 documents translated from Latin written by the man himself for you to work with as sources.
This is wonderful Martin. Having spent some time recently being one of a faithful group holding the tightrope for you to walk on, this is you settled into the deep you of who you are, tapping into that deep well you have dug over many years, and the power of the stories rises up out of the deep ancestral levels in a way that only you can call them. Imbas at work ❤️
'Jawbone' - genius title and brilliant idea, hope it spreads far and wide for many years to come. More stories the merrier, thanks Martin!
Exciting!
Wonderful!

"Could this have gone some Other Way? God Bless yer Martin x x
Yippee! Jawbone has arrived! What a wonderful surprise this early morning. Oh, the scent and feel of that pelt ♥️
The jawbone of an ass! Speaking as one ass to another. May you wield it like Samson!
So exciting! I’ll share this with my sons. 💙

There nothing like a good jawing aye!
This is thrilling! I can't wait to joyfully say yes (for once) when my sons want to watch a youtube video. :D
The the jawbone of a an ass (donkey) is a symbol of God's ability to use humble means to accomplish great things.
Aho. Amen.
